UoN-STP completes successful hackathon

As part of the bigger Maker Project, the Making for Health hackathon which started on September 22, 2018 came to its official closeout on December 8, 2018.

The program whose aim is to capitalize on the strong foundation built through cross-disciplinary approach to developing innovative solutions to health systems problems saw active participation by students, graduates and faculty from diverse professional backgrounds who were taken through rigorous training to enable them develop innovative high impact ideas that could be adopted to promote devices for MNCH in low-resource settings.

The event was graced by partner organizations including UNICEF, Concern Worldwide, Kenyatta National hospital and representatives from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology among other STP stakeholders.
