University set to hold the 6th Annual Research Week

The University of Nairobi is counting down five (5) days’  to host the 6^th Annual UoN Research Week time from 23^rd-27^th October, 2023.The theme of this year’s research week is ‘Harnessing Research for Resilience and Sustainability of Community’. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Monday morning, October 23, 2023 at the Chandaria Auditorium. 

The CS, Education, Hon. Ezekiel Machogu will be the chief guest and Dr. Catherine Kyobutungi, Executive Director, APHRC will deliver the keynote presentation. The Official opening Ceremony will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Chandaria Auditorium from 9:00-11:00 am. 

This research week has 16 thematic conferences:

 Agro 2023-Biennial Conference and Exhibition themed ‘Harnessing Research in Agriculture and Environment for Sustainable Food Systems and Livelihoods’ is scheduled for 25^th-26^th October,2023 on Zoom Meeting.

The 1^st Annual International Conference on Education Management, Policy and Curriculum Studies themed ‘Harnessing Research for Resilience and Sustainability of Communities Through Educational Management, Policy and Curriculum Innovations’ will take place on Zoom Meeting on 24^th October 2023 and 26^th October,2023.

Faculty of Law 2^nd Annual Conference themed ‘Law and Sustainability: Navigating Challenges and Fostering Resilient Communities’ will be from 24^th-25^th October,2023. 

The 2^nd Annual Urban and Regional Planning Conference is scheduled from 23^rd-27^th October,2023 and is themed ‘Strengthening Resilience Through Spatial Planning for Sustainable Development in Africa’. 

The 4^th Annual Conference on Online, Digital and Distance Education themed ‘Understanding Online Blended and Distance Learning ecosystems in Changing Times’ will happen from the 23^rd-24^th October,2023 on Zoom Meeting.

On 24^th-25^th October ,2023, the 5^th Annual Development Finance Conference 2023  with the theme being ‘Harnessing Research Finance for Resilience and Sustainability’.

On the 24^th-25^th October,2023, the 5^th Annual International Conference on Project Planning and Management themed ‘Resilience and Sustainability in Project Management’ will also be covered on Zoom.

The 5^th International Engineering Conference will take place as from the 26^th-27^th October,2023  with the theme ‘Harnessing Research in Engineering for Resilience and Sustainability’.

The 6^th annual Conference on the Status of African Women themed ‘Harnessing Women’s Knowledge, Experience and Contribution towards Sustainable Development will take place on the 26^th-27^th October,2023 on Zoom.

The 6^th Annual Forensic Victimology and Victim Support Conference Kenya is scheduled for 23^rd-24^th October,2023 on Zoom Meeting. The theme of this Conference is ‘Research and Practice for Enhanced Victim Support Services’.

The 6^th Annual Conference of the Faculty of Science and Technology themed ‘Harnessing Research and Resilience and Sustainability will take place on Zoom Meeting from 25^th-27^th October,2023.

The 8^th DBA-Africa Management Review International Conference will take place from 23^rd-27^th October,2023 on Zoom Meeting. The theme of this Conference will be ‘Harnessing Research to Shape the Future of Management for Sustainability of Communities’.

The 14^th Africa International Business Management Conference will take place from 23^rd-27^th October,2023 on Zoom. The theme of the Conference is ‘Harnessing Recent Innovations, Research, Technologies and Developments in Business and Management Sciences for Resilience and Sustainability in Society’.

The Annual International Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Scientific Conference themed ‘Harnessing Research in Veterinary Science for Resilience and Sustainability of Communities’ will take place on 25^th-27^th October,2023 on Zoom Meeting.

National Conference on Gender Equality and Family Socialization for Human Security and Sustainable Development will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
