The WEE Hub has successfully completed a 2-day training workshop for enumerators, held on the 30th and 31st of August 2024 at the Swiss Belinn (formerly Emory Hotel) in Nairobi. This workshop was a key preparatory step for the Exit Monitoring exercise, which will evaluate the outcomes and impacts of the Women's Business Incubation Program on individual women's businesses.

We are thrilled to announce the historic appointment of Prof. Siphila Wanjiku Mumenya as the new Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nairobi. Elected in July 2024, Prof. Mumenya will serve a three-year term, making history as the first female Dean of the Faculty.
Veronica, a dedicated fish trader from Busia, now enjoys access to affordable childcare services provided by the Busia Childcare Center, an initiative of the WEE Hub in collaboration with CCGD. Previously, Veronica faced the challenge of bringing her young child to the market daily due to a lack of childcare options.
