How to for Apply for KENET-Safaricom E-learning Discounted Bundle For 1st Year Students:
To facilitate Online teaching and Learning; the University has partnered with 2 service providers to provide affordable bundles to students.

HOW TO ACCESS DATA BUNDLES:
1) HOW TO APPLY FOR ‘SOMA NA TELKOM’ DATA BUNDLES
Log in to the SMIS portal to register and indicate the nearest Telkom outlet. Provide your current telephone number, once the Telkom SIMCARD is ready for collection, you will receive a message from Telkom.
To note: you will be required to physically visit the Telkom shop you indicated during registration. Please visit the Telkom after you receive a notification. Use this locator: https://telcom.co.ke/shop-locator to select a Telkom shop closest to where you live.
If you have any Challenges accessing Telkom internet contact: Please call 0202221000 for assistance or visit the Telkom shop where you picked the card
The Telkom data bundles will grant you access to online classes and permitted e-learning.

2) HOW TO ACCESS THE KENET –SAFARICOM ELEARNING DISCOUNTED BUNDLE
To access this service your number has to be registered on the KENET- Safaricom platform: To register: click HERE.
Upon verification Dial *544*60# to purchase your preferred bundle
To register Use your student email for the verification: username@student.uonbi.ac.ke
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT USE PERSONAL GMAIL/YAHOO EMAILS TO REGISTER FOR THE DISCOUNTED BUNDLES
To enjoy this service, register your Safaricom line. This is only available to SAFARICOM users.
The bundles will only access whitelisted/permitted E-learning resources Like the University of Nairobi Learning Platforms.
