1st International Scientific Conference Concludes Successfully

The College of Health Sciences successfully organized and hosted its 1st International Scientific Conference from 15th-17th June 2011 whose theme was: “Towards Optimum Health Care”.   
The biannual event brought together seasoned and upcoming scientists; and diverse health care practitioners from different nationalities who participated in activities such as oral and poster presentations of their original research work, plenary talks, and symposia.
The participants also had an opportunity to share knowledge and experience that influence and shape research and service delivery to achieve optimum health care outcomes.  
The Chief Guest was Hon. Beth W. Mugo, Minister for Public Health and Sanitation and was ably represented by the Permanent Secretary Mr. Mark Kipkemoi Bor.

As a participant, I must confess that they did their best given the fact that it was the first one of it kind in the college.

I was one of the participants and I must say the whole thing was fantastic.I learn 't a lot and I have come to appreciate medical research more.Looking forward to the 2013 one.Kudos!
