COP29: Chancellor meets Prime Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi
News from Baku, Azerbaijan, The University of Nairobi Chancellor and CEO, Global centrer on Adaptation (GCA), Prof. Patrick Verkooijen, during his participation at the COP29 met with Prime Cabinet Secretary for Diaspora and Foreign Affairs, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi. Prof. Veerkoijen remarked, 'In my role as Chancellor of the University of Nairobi, I look forward to accelerating implementation of the “Big 5” agenda which aims to transform higher education in Kenya next week with UoN as a leader in innovation, leadership, and sustainable development for Africa.

At Baku, Chancellor Verkooijen also attended the Youth Advisory Panel together with H.E Hilda Heine, President of Marshall Island where he engaged young leaders who are accelerating adaptation solutions.
