University of Nairobi and Hokkaido University have commenced discussions on collaboration majorly on student exchange.
Hokkaido University is one of the oldest and biggest Universities in Japan, with 12 undergraduate schools and 18 graduate schools.
This was said when the Vice President of Hokkaido University, Prof. Hiroaki Terao paid a courtesy call on the University of Nairobi Vice chancellor on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
Prof. Henry Mutoro, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs, speaking on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Peter Mbithi said that the University of Nairobi is among the best universities in Africa and would like to be associated with other top universities in the world. He said that internationalization is among the objectives of the University management and through such collaborations, it will soon be attained.
